So how is that engine of yours? wasn't it supposed to be dropped before end of year?
Don't forget, i'm constantly working and planning to close the parts gap... I even dream about parts these days...
I'm even looking on the interwebs for adds that say "f 65, filthy rich, need toy boy, will give you parts for your Porsche"
Luckily, no such ads yet, for if i did found one, i would have give up my innocence for them parts.

9 months. he'll sleep till at least 6AM, regardless of when he goes to bed. 4PM, 8PM, it doesn't matter. he is up at the same time in the morning.

how long would y'all expect a parked car to maintain the charge on the battery?

we bought a third car and i have more or less parked the 951 for the winter. the battery is brand new, but it is nearly flat after two weeks of sitting.

its pretty damn cold. 13F, right now. its been like that at night, lately.

i may just get a charge on it, get the car in the garage, and pull the battery and stash it in the laundry room.

does two weeks seem odd to lose the charge?

the car is officially pissing me off. the battery has some charge, now, but the solenoid is not engaging, so all it does is make this really painful noise. i tapped on it with a hammer, no change. i really don't want the car to just sit their, in the driveway, all winter. i knew parking the thing, instead of driving it again all winter, was a bad idea.

i finally got it to start. too bad its dark and cold and my son is in his crib. i'd to just back the thing into the garage and be done. but, i have to move the car (good luck with its current tires and snow) and a trailer.
