Well since the Corrado is getting hard to find I am sure people here would be interested in it. Sorry Sid but I just see VW and I will have nothing to do with them. I refuse to work on them, and when I was at the dealer I refused to work on any VAG stuff. Porsche or I went home.
![]() That being said they are decent looking cars

Oh I shoulda mentioned. He was sling about my 944.
The rare of the corrado is what makes it a *****. Parts are hard to find and cost $$$ and few people understand them. Seriously another 944 would be cheaper. I hear ya on the VAG stuff though. This makes like the 10th vdub in our family over the years. Everything from rabbit trucks to tdi bugs and jetta wagons. All the same. Great to drive. Not so much to fix. |

Wow. Just wow. You guys are not slacking. Me, I have been chopping wood for the fire, the traditional way with a too small axe. What a pain in the backside. Literary.
BTW, isn´t AXE the correct word? Spell check does not recognize it.

just was thinking...
copper supposedly has a thermal conductivity, twice that of aluminium. I realize heads made out of copper would not last long... and it would make em heavier But what about copper plating the cooling fins on say the heads, or cyllinders?? wouldn't that improve cooling, eg ,copper sucking out the heat from the alumium fins and releasing it to the cooling air???

goddamned Continental tires are pissing me off, now the weather warmed up a bit (5C), the tracking is less bad on HW, but the rear just don't give me any confidence... It's just down right twitchy... And i got 1000km on them tires, so you'de think they should start to come into their own right... it's actually getting worse... I give it another week, if this doesn't improve, i'm going to start bugging the lease company, the tire shop, the tire company... and everybody else i can bug with this...
