Joe, you aren't always using your sign to attract. Your sign marks where you are, so people that are looking for you can find you. We spent a hell of a lot of time in Phoenix not being able to find what we wanted because of crappy signs... and that is with a GPS. Like I said, wait until you are in a business that depends on retail traffic.

Oh and BTW, I grew up in the sign industry, and my internship is selling the LED signs...

And I've yet to have a GPS that regularly got me to the exact place I wanted. At some point you start looking for a marker of the place you are going.

Don't give the hookers the coke, then they will be still...

Seriously, rookie mistake....

I am slightly kidding around with you sid. Myrtle beach and hhi are extremes, there has to be a happy medium.......it is very difficult to find your way around hhi at first.....

Night folks

Porsche-poor 04-12-2012 08:28 PM

night Glen. thanks for the pictures.

Porsche-poor 04-12-2012 08:38 PM

I'm off as well night all.

I am extremely frustrated. I have spent a few hours going over "predicting performance" and it kicking my ass - again. Math is not my strong point and trying to interpolate numbers gets really frustrating. The answer is a three digit number and I am consistently getting four. I'm supposed to get through two more sections tonight as well and they are not going to be any easier for me. I feel like I've wasted my entire evening.

slodave 04-12-2012 10:02 PM

Well, that was pretty much a useless night of studying.

Embraer 04-12-2012 10:02 PM

dave, which parts of performance are you hanging up on?

Embraer 04-12-2012 10:04 PM

performance graph stuff, or the wiz wheel?

RKDinOKC 04-12-2012 10:08 PM

Sorry, fell asleep...

RKDinOKC 04-12-2012 10:11 PM

Bumped into the "hot chick" I took to the prom...hadn't seen her for 30 some odd years.

Pretty much the graphs at the moment. I didn't even get to section 3 of the chapter that deals with the E6B. This chapter is review from a few months ago, but it still gets me.

I was really good with algebra and formulas in 8th grade. I switched schools after 7th and the new school was teaching algebra, which I had had the year before - and didn't do so well. By the end of the 2nd time, I was the teachers aid. By the time 9th grade came around, the teacher that taught us advanced algebra was also our science teacher, who had fried his brain on too much acid. He confused the hell out of me and math has never been the same since.

slodave 04-12-2012 10:15 PM

Now I just answered a question solely based on the fact that I remember the answer from 6 months ago.

Embraer 04-12-2012 10:17 PM

i gotta run back in and work one last rush for the night, but i'll be back on in a bit...

slodave 04-12-2012 10:20 PM

Don't go all "Astroids" on the incoming traffic. :)

And don't go pulling a John Cusack either, pushing that tin around.

Embraer 04-12-2012 10:24 PM

ha! actually, since i leave at 1045, they were nice enough to say i didnt have to go back in. so anyway...the graph stuff. which ones were driving you bonkers? do you have a straight edge, mechanical pencil, and all of that stuff with you?

slodave 04-12-2012 10:26 PM

It's more the interpolation, Mike. I talked with my dad about it and he helped out. I just discarded my practice test session for tonight.

I do appreciate the willingness to help, but I am calling it a night on studying. Anymore and you'll see my book and laptop on radar.

Flieger 04-12-2012 10:27 PM

As in linear interpolation between two points?
