Lotsa big storms coming through the metro area. A tornado hit in the south part down in Norman. That is 35 miles from me. The local tv stations all go to constant coverage. No commercials no breaks just weather coverage. The station I like has several radar systems. They have one they call MOAR which stands for Mother Of All Radars because it is so high tech. It is more advanced than the radar at the national weather center based in Norman. That is very close to the area that just had the tornado.

Very quiet. Beth and I decided to just kick back, get some take out (waiting for it to be done) and watch a movie and just relax.

The radar on tv knows where every tornado is within a few feet. None coming our way. If they do I get my helmets ready since the biggest injury in a tornado is head injury. So far I am just watching the tv. If power goes out we have a battery operated Hd tv to watch.
