Id be happy to wing for you, but most of mt activities don't attract female clientele.

Well you seem to get plenty of females, just not the type I am looking for.

Oh and Joe, don't know the history on this Catholic church thing or women but sounds complicated. Can't comment because I don't know the details... '

David, you sound so miserable. I hope your pain gets better. Poor thing... I feel bad for you.

Nynor, what do you do and what are you looking for? Never know if I have a connection...

Rick, same goes for you. What do you do? Life is short. Hating your job is not a good way to live it.

Which brings me to my final point, got the job offer. They all loved me. :) They really want me but huge pay cut. Similar positions as nynor and Rick. I don't like my current job, don't feel fulfillment, feel like they may cut my current team any day now. New company, awesome people, awesome medical device, privately held company so huge (or not) opportunity for growth. Told them I would think about it and get back to them on Friday. Money isn't everything... especially when you are miserable.

Those are at bars....
actually, the one I've met who shares my hobbies, I've been dragging my feet on. Still a little gushy of something where I can see myself getting emotionally invested.

Flieger 04-18-2012 05:47 PM

So where in Cali would you be living if you took the offer?

Dude! I volunteered to be your wing woman! I am really good at it too! I told you, I have a ton of guy friends and pimp them out all the time! And girls find other girls less intimidating. Just sayin'. And like I told you before, girls are weird. If a guy is with a girl, other girls sometimes find the guy more attractive. Like this guy must be cool if that girl is hanging out with him. But let it be known if you start dating, the rules are changed (like how most rules get changed when a girl starts dating a guy) and you aren't allowed to talk to that girl friend anymore. And I am all good with that. :) You wouldn't have to talk to me another day of your life if I was responsible for finding a gal for you. :D

I would totally take you up on that offer. How soon can you be here? :D

I just don't want any angry boyfriends coming after me. I could handle it but I would prefer to avoid the drama.

I am joining this reasonable well-established and possibly complex and nuanced 'club' late. It would be like joining a top-line racing organization with no prior experience racing.

tweezers74 04-18-2012 05:53 PM

My territory would be Arizona and Southern Cal... no SLO. :(

HHI944 04-18-2012 05:53 PM

It is complicated tweeze.......but there's something to be gained by every experience in life. When we stop pushing boundaries, doing what we feel is right and learning from life experiences, what's the point in living. This is a small facet of life and I've finally gotten to where I can separate it from day to day. Overall, life is good: I live third row from the beach in an exclusive plantation, there's a vintage Landy and a jaguarhiltonhead in my garage and I enjoy the finer things (art, scotch, cigars, etc.) Life is good.

respiratory therapy.

Angry boyfriends? Where does that come into play? I don't do that... Oh no, I play the gal pal with this nice guy friend who is so awesome and fun. See, if the girl likes me and thinks I am cool and fun and I talk you up, she assumes she will like you just as much because she thinks well, I get along with this girl and if this girl is friends with this dude, then I will get along with him. I am telling you, it works. I have at least talked to guys that my girlfriends talk up because I am like, hey, how bad can he be if she thinks he is cool and I love her to death? See what angle I am working at?

Yes, it is just one of my many fears of asking a girl I do not know. If the girl came up to me I'd be overjoyed and much more open to talking. But I haven't had the pleasure of that happening.

tweezers74 04-18-2012 06:01 PM

Nynor, you know I work for the biggest player in the pulse oximetry world, don't you? Took over Nellcor. Used to work for Banner too, largest hospital network in AZ. Used to be a manger. I don't think they have a hospital in Utah... hmmm... Utah... where at? Might know some people... Are you a RT, manager, educator, etc? Let me know...

porsche4life 04-18-2012 06:02 PM

Max, if a girl has a BF, she will let you know and you leave it at that... no biggee...

Seriously, that should be like the last of your worries....

Oh geez, Max. Please let me pimp you out. I could have you talking to a nice girl in one day. Guranteed. Not at a bar. Heck, we could go to a park, the library, a Starbucks. Seriously.

Hmmmmm... I sound weird. A girl who knows how to pick up girls...

Flieger 04-18-2012 06:04 PM

Yeah, it is just wrapped up in all the other exaggerated fears I have. Partially the awkwardness about possibly having to see the girl a lot afterwards in class.

porsche4life 04-18-2012 06:04 PM

Tweeze don't you have lots of hot friends? I mean hot girls tend to run in packs right? Just set Max up with one of them....

Flieger 04-18-2012 06:06 PM

Arizona is pretty far. The challenge involves face-to-face conversation. I don't think a long-distance relationship would fulfill the spirit of the challenge.
