And pretty girls seem to have pretty girl friends...
She had one friend with her today but she did not really interest me. Maybe it was just compared to Regan. Apparently the friend had lost her phone or something. Again, not really something that would appeal to me.

She (the friend) did have cute shoes, though. They were sort of like moccasins. I don't really know how to describe them. Little boots made of leather. The part around the ankle was tassles/fringe made from the leather.

Well, she drinks with the other POC guys at least. She and her Dad both had beers in hand when I talked to them (separately).

Who the hell said you should take my advice??? I shouldn't take my own advice half the time.........and FTR, Max, in that 5 year expanse of difference, I put in an enlistment, watched 2 friends die and had to give the chaplain directions to the home of another whom I put in the damn Army. 5 years, or more accurately 4, can be a lifetime in some respects.

As to my 'politeness', I'm rough around the edges, but I still hold doors, say yes/no ma'am/sir to everyone and go out of my way constantly to help others

joe, you seem like a nice enough guy. Honest, which is good. But have to say most prim and proper girls couldnt handle it. You definitely need a girl that is rougher around the edges that can fling it back to you as fast as you dish it. But you seem to pick the extreme. Just pick a nice girl that is spunky enough to handle your bite but not spunky enough to ummmm... Well... Have a felony.

I'm just messing with you on the Regan thing, though she is very attractive and it can't hurt to be a good friend.......my initial questions was in regards to the girl at school......forgot it was Saturday....

Age isn't everything. I know guys younger than you who have seen 20x what I have.......we're in for a hell of a mess in ~40yrs..................again.

I will settle for friends until something changes. I will look for other girls in the meantime. If she does party hard then she's not my type anyway.

Joe, smartest thing you have said tonight. Age isn't everything for sure! I agree with you. Seeing somebody die puts a whole different perspective on how you live your life. The first time I held somebody's hand while they died was when I was 21. Changed my life.

Thanks Tweeze! One thing I've learned is that life is all about finding the happy median.

Regan is a pretty rare find, though. Being so good looking and into cars- well, racing cars at least. I don't know if she is interested in the mechanical bits. I won't count on finding another girl like that.

I'll agree with you on the partying thing max.......I'm just not into it anymore.....

Tweeze, there'd be something wrong with you if it didn't affect you....I was a whopping 19, then 21 for the chaplain incident....then 25 for the parking lot incident

It helps that she's been around race cars all her life.

You don't want 'em to be into everything you are........then you have nothing to do when you need some time away....

And has a Dad with the money to pay for her college and racing at the same time as he is racing himself.

I'm still working on my 'special theory of female psychosis'..........IME, there is a definite relation between convertible E46's and Cat.5 BSC.........

I got a lot of sun today. I did put some sunscreen on but it was a bit late. I don't think my face ended up as bad as after Long Beach but I still got burned.

I am really looking forward to getting back to SLO. TO is nice, too, though.

No offense, Mike. The desert has its beauty but it I am not cut out for it.

I don't want a girl that has all the same interests as me and no others. But I still want her to have certain interests and fundamental values which I hold most dear. That way we agree on the important things but still have differences to make things interesting.

There's a reason we wear big floppy hats around the pit area.
