Good Monday morning guys. It was a beautiful weekend here. It did get a bit windy on Sunday but not too bad. I finally had time to get my two cars all washed and dried off.

Today I am going to attack my workspace here at work. Since we re-arranged all the RAIDs and the new rack mount switch is up and running we are cleaning up some of the mess. My co-worker attacked his 3 computer area. It is amazing how much dust and dead bugs accumulate behind the equipment. I feel sure that some devious secret agency must sneak in at night and twist all the wires together into a tangled mess.

On one of the computer my co-worked uses would not start after moving it. The power supply just died. Fortunately we bought 3 identical computers at the same time. We just raped on of the less necessary computers and stole the power supply from it and that worked. Now we need to buy another power supply.

My work area has two computer I switch back and forth on and one color laser printer, and a copier, fax machine all hooked to the network.

We ordered a Cat5 cable crimper and the ends so we can cut the cables down to the proper length. In the end we will zip tie them into neat bundles and eliminate the rats nest of coiled cables.

Oh yeah, much better. You better be careful tweeze, or someone will issue you a man card.
Jim, I have several honorary man cards already issued by some of my guy friends... Maybe I should loan one to G until he finds his "misplaced" one.

Nut punching works as an antidote/vaccination for that as well.

You know, didn't understand the punching in the nuts thing until now. If it is the kryptonite against our sexual powers, I can see how you could use it as an antidote. But let's say it's a woman you like? Still punch yourself in the nuts as a cautionary move?

This is my car at the autocross. It is overexposed but the price was right!

I like it.

And my beard is NOT grey, it is color matched to my car & wheels!

Well the weather forecast suggests that nature is going to be testing me on my statement that I would go to the farmers market Thursday as long as it is not raining hard. I will have to decide what raining hard means!

On the one hand the girls that would be there might be all wet. On the other they probably will not be wearing t-shirts and there will probably not be so many there if it is wet. The 'live entertainment' had better be good in that case.
