We have two Dachshunds and they have a doggie door. They usually have no problem getting outside. Our male dachshund is now blind and he sometimes gets lost and just starts roaming around. That is a good time to just pick him up and put him at the doggie door. That seems to reorient him and he can get around OK.

A doggie door would be handy. I need it add it to my to-do list for the house.

I have two contractors coming over today to bid on a couple of projects here at our western outpost. I'm doing some electrical work, and trying to figure out possible kitchen designs for my wife to consider. Also need to measure the back yard slope so I can plan a retaining wall. Busy busy busy.

Retaining walls can be a lot of work.

I had spam, eggs, and pancakes the other morning. There's actually a restaraunt here with multiple dishes offered with spam as the "meat.". Pics to come later...

Naa, that is geeky cool.

I was just razzing Rick about that coffee maker. Heck he does not even use it, he just has to look at it.

The spam breakfast I had was at a breakfast-lunch joint on the Pacific Coast Highway. First time I've eaten spam since I was married. Mmmmm.

As kids my mom fed it to us all the time. I don't dislike the the stuff but I prefer real ham.

For whatever reason the people in the state of Hawaii buy more spam than any other state! Not per capita but overall ranking.
