Probably a generation thing. I've noticed my son and all his friends seem to be fashion conscious. Me, I've been wearing tradie type clothes for so long it probably influences my wardrobe more than it should. A nice pair of shoes to me look like this;

It seems the best thing for me would be to find some hot girl that I do not know and that I would not be seeing again in class for weeks and go chat her up. That is my main holdup.

Hey, I wouldn't mind wearing Pumas either. But they are expensive. And I can't do hiking, cycling, and driving all in them as well as I can in my cheap shoes.

I would not say I am fashion conscious. I don't know what the shoes are (short of race clothing/shoes) but I know what I like! :)
