Good cheery Monday morning.

The thunderstorms that closed down the autocross stuck around on and off all day Sunday and all night and again this morning. The thunder is amazing. Both the basketball team and the stuff caused by the lightning. There was some awe inspiring rolling thunder this morning. One rumble of thunder lasted for a good 20 seconds.

The good news is none of the wind got to chasing around in circles and sucking up houses and trees.

Hey Vas how is the other side of the planet? I guess fall is in full swing and winter is coming for you.

lord. my son had me up at 6AM, straight up. i couldn't believe it. so much for sleeping in on my day off.

run his butt around the block about 3000 times.

that doesn't do me any good, now that he woke me up. let me tell you, i wasn't happy. on top of it all, he is super whiny this morning. this is not a good combination: whiny three year old, irritated and tired father, and lack of sleep by all parties.

nothing worse that a whiny kid. hang in there

We just lock the whiny children in the laundry room. No wait the is the whiny dog children. Does one need to treat human children differently?

sort of. if he doesn't stop immediately (per instance) he goes to time out. i have a zero tolerance policy for whining/fake crying/etc.

Wow, it has been busy here. We are working on the monster 5,500 square mile mapping job, and a different job that is only 300 square miles but crazy high resolution so the files are 1.6 gigs each and than all the regular" production to boot.

I guess it makes for job security so that is good!
