Been doing CAD with AutoCAD since 1989. May not be the best thing out there but its the only thing in our industry. If the client has it you are stuck.

Sorry the file is "sensitive" in that it has information that the company would not want out of the office. The real problem is one bit of text. It stays at a .44 point text and all the other text is 32 point. It is part of a final print that is full color and 48x96 overall. Sub point text is pretty much invisible on a print that big.

Max. do a report on the song from the Stones. From the 1973 album Goat Head Soup, the song Star Star. It would be a big hit! ;)

He said no British Invasion band and no Dylan.

If it's okay with you David, can I PM you for the odd autocad help. I recognise I'm really a novice when it comes to driving it. I get myself around it eventually, but every now and then I'm stumped or I'll blow away a tool/feature and fumble around until I get it back.

Outback Porsche 05-16-2012 04:39 PM

In the meantime, I've been trying to chase down that intermittent tachometer bounce I've got going on. So I finally jury-rigged a volt meter connected to the battery terminals. There's speaker wire running out the corner of the hood and in through the driver's side window. Blue painter's tape on the window and dash. Voltmeter wedged into a corner of the dash. All set to go and give me real-time info.

Only the tach hasn't faltered in the 2 weeks since.

that is not only because you have the stuff set up to find it, but also because the stuff you have set up to find it is dampening the voltage spikes! (yeah, i pulled that out of my arse, just now.)

Very little of my work is in AutoCAD. I use many software packages but the complex maps are in Arcmap. It makes AutoCAD seem intuitive.

Flieger 05-16-2012 06:15 PM

Looking for more Ted/Amboy Dukes songs on youtube. Got sidetracked with Grace Slick and the Great Society.

Sounds like that one piecce of text might not be the new multi line teext style. I am thinking you might have to change the height of hte text old school. I'll get you the commends in the am if you need them.
