I drove my 911 to work today because it is Friday and yesterday was sooooo pretty. It already rained a little today, and now the big storms are coming.

I parked my car inside the building. The big red arrow points to my office. It looks like the bad pookie will miss us but no point taking chances.

My hour flight today was pure torture. *I think I would have rather had a baby crying next to me. *These two women spent the whole flight analyzing all their friends how "she is unhappy in her relationship, I mean she's put on all this weight", or how "Karen is going to isolate herself after she gets married and I am not going to continue to put the same energy as I do now into our friendship", *"I'm not gonna say their marriage isn't going to survive but when you are that vindictive", or "I don't think she is a mean person but deep down I don't think she is happy with herself". *Seriously??????? *I quoted that last one as they are speaking right at this moment. *Aaaaaggggghg!!!

Sometimes I really feel like a misfit in the women species pool. *How can you talk about this stuff for an hour? *I feel like yelling at them," who cares?!! *Let them live their lives and you live yours!". Dude, get a life. *Go on a hike. *Experience nature. *Heck, go shooting and get out all that anger. * Women are sometimes real downers. *

Mental note... Pack earplugs from now on. Happy Friday! Nice knockers so far.

Just keep your headphones with your cell phone and listen to music, or books on tape.

Go home and relax for the weekend.

We have been torturing our two main RAIDs all week. The torture will continue over the weekend. We have moved well over a terabyte of new imagery onto the RAIDs. We will need another RAID soon. One customer's job alone is over 1 TB. We will have to buy a 2TB drive just to deliver the job.

Got a barrage of phone calls and emails from Kimray employees today.

Seems one of my two nephews that are CEO and President is "taking an indefinite leave of absence and resigned his position as President from Kimray to take care of some personal problems. That is all my Brother the Chairman of the Board says he can tell me. But did say he would be welcomed back, and hoped to see him back in 6 weeks.

When I called my brother to tell him about getting inundated with concerned calls, his wife (a major stock holder) wanted the names of everyone that had called me.

The employees that called say they noticed he is not wearing his wedding ring, and they think he and his brother the CEO had it out.

They should just tell people what is going on.

Ah, the joys of the family business.

Just keep your head down and stay out of the line of fire.

Woo Hoo. The storms have quit and I can drive the 911 home on dry roads. The car is dirty but dry roads are safer from bad drivers.

Rick, it ia always good to have the Porsche at home and not in the shop!

My 911 is filthy dirty so I can drive it to the local Porsche club breakfast tomorrow and not worry about rain. I still need to replace the brake fluid, replace the rear hood strut, and swap the starter. Hopefully I will have time on Sunday.

My former boss is having his 40th wedding anniversary party on Saturday afternoon. He is 96 now. His first wife died of breast cancer 45 years ago.

Oh, and that former boss is the guy that in his words "took early retirement" at age 92. He is still driving and keeps his pilots license current. He does not fly much anymore.
