Former boss told me about having a couple stay over after a dinner party. Said after the couple left the next moring, the mattress and springs in the guest room were leaning up against the wall and all of the toothpaste tubes in the bathrooms were empty.

I sent a message via Facebook to my brother Sunday afternoon. I guess that he preferred that. I guess in the next day or so, I will, in a way, meet my brother (indirectly) for the first time. It seems that he does not have much of a memory of when I was born and I was not brought up as he grew up. I have known this for about a year, but I guess I officially become an uncle. He has a 3 yr. old boy.

Actually the more I think about it now, the faster my mind races. My emotions are still kinda neutral. I'm not sure how I feel.

Dave, that's awesome! But understandable if your feelings are neutral. A lot to absorb right now. Remember, there is no right or wrong way to feel. Just sift through your emotions and see what you come up with. Keep us in the loop about what happens. Or don't. Up to you. :) We are here either way.

Ugh, I feel the onset of bronchitis.

Yuck. I was sick once I did not like it.

Several years ago my wife went on a business trip. On the airplane trip home she caught whooping cough from some ashat passenger that traveled when sick and contagious. Of course she shared it with me. It really sucks to cough so much and then not be able to take a deep breath. I guess that will keep up my immunity to whooping cough for a while.
