Afternoon folks. I spent a couple of hours on the Elky AC fix. I am stopped now to get ready for father's day. The steaks are marinating and the ice cream is making.
 I am gonna take the old rubber hoses to a local AC shop and have them rebuilt with my ends. There was a lot of rubber debris on the orifice tube. The rubber hoses have been on there since 1986 and 307,000 miles. The aluminum ends are fine but the rubber needs to be replaced.

 nope. I just make the I cream in the garage. The best spot to do it is next to my air compressor. That thing got a workout today as I was flushing the evaporator & the condenser on the Elky.

My big secret to smooth and creamy home made ice cream is to NOT use a lot of salt on the ice. Heavy salt makes it freeze faster but it does not taste smooth and creamy. Easy on the ice and it takes longer but it tastes better. If I was hand cranking it I would load up on ice but electricity is wonderful thing. it churns the ice cream and it keeps my garage AC working, and the lights on! It is hot outside but my garage is like me, real cool.

This stuff is sooooooo good it will make ya wanna slap yer moma for never having made you anything so good. Ok that might be a slight exaggeration but my moma told me a million times I should not exaggerate.
 Looks like a good batch!  Packed up and waiting for guests.

I vote the stijn reunion be at Glen's. I take my steak medium rare.
and I will probably have at least two servings of ice cream. I will bring all the beer you want since I don't drink.

A friend of mine has a custom bike shop, The frames start as bar stock, anf the tank and fenders are sheet metal, and he also weaves his own wheels.He is a true craftsman.
