i can go outside and make a picture, and since the time stamp on my picture will be of a later time then yours, my evidence will overrule yours.

Shower yes, but must clean myself up first, before i close the water mains and mess with my piping...

pff, another trip to the hardware store...
copper pipes are to close to a wooden beam, and i can't get my pipe cutter to rotate around the pipe.... Now i need to get myself one of those mini cutters that only requires like an inch of space....

How about a friggen' hacksaw? Or, modified version to fit the application.

amateur.

IF i cut beams, i used this little piece of beam cutting equipment

pipe 1 is cut,
got a clamp fit T joint in there (can't solder with all the wood).
Then capped off a piece of copper pipe, and put that on the T-joint..

opened the water mains... and no drips..
progress is a slow process, but i wanna be sure it's dry before i install my shower tub on top of all that pipping.

Now for the hot water pipe

Then it's just a question of measuring up the piping, and finish soldering the shower piping in the garage, so all i have to do is take it to the shower, clamp it to that Tjoint, and test

2nd pipe done and tested with a capped off pipe.
worst case scenarion now if i can't figure out the rest, is that i cap off the pipes on the T Joints.. And call a plummer... Either way, the rest of the house still has water then, no loss of functionality...
Just need to put some brackets on the pipes, so they don't move around from pressure oscillations.. that would potentially make it leak over time

It's typical of how i work, fail safes along the way, mostly because i'm bound to screw up at some point... self knowledge

Maybe Nasa should gimme a call, i'm great at problem prevention and MccGyver style problem solving/patching...
Since they are going to the moon again, they could use me in case there's another Houston we have a problem like Apollo 13...

saw is no good for the pipes, the clamp fit's use a brass ring that leaves no room for deformed pipes or uneven cuts, the ring wouldn't fit anymore, it would leak
