I'm in construction. I keep track of the progress onsite to check/verify what contractors charge at the end of the month, and correct them if needed.

bloody hell, so during august, my boss tells me i get a 2000 e bonus, gross..out of the blue.

Nett amount more on my paycheck : 505 euro
Taxes here are ridicioulous

I knew it was going to be bad, but i still had hoped it would be something like 800 nett.
I'll probably get a half decent refund then, but you still have to wait for the refund for at least a year... if not more

One of these days I am going to find out how to get to that list. In the meantime I clicked the reply button. Pretty impressive. 90% of this 600+ posts thread is produced by four people. Thats a hardcore exclusive breakfast club.

A friend of mine will be attending the Hansa Scuderia Nurburgring instruction course next week. Runs for four days. Involves a lot of driving and even walking around the ring, learning every turn. He asked me to join him but I have to work. "O come on! Tell them you are ill! Its only 1900 Euro!

Not really, but if they charge too much, which happens ( they can try), I provide the data, plans, numbers to show them that they're wrong, and that were not paying extra.
I work for a group of contractors and I check the subcontractos so they don(t charge too much.
