Went down to the local music store - Boo-Boo Records - and asked for the Pink Floyd Live in Pompeii DVD. They said they normally carry it but did not have it at the moment so they put an order in and should have it by Monday. I told them I wanted to rip it to my iPod and they seemed to think that it would be possible.

Walked out with Fly by Night (Rush), Catfish Rising (Jethro Tull), and a 40th Anniversary special edition of Aqualung to hold me over until then.

Hi Tweeze!

San Luis Obispo is such a nice town. I got to the music store too early so I had 45 minutes to spend under the trees sitting by the creek at the mission before the store opened. Such a peaceful and beautiful place to sit and think. And I like how bike-friendly it is.

Well I gave my two weeks notice today. The final straw, I was asked to drive 35 miles to replace a carb on a 1987 private bus, in the middle of a field, in 100 deg heat and high humidity.
Not gonna happen and didn't.
That is not what I get paid for.

Markus, I saw your new video. Hannah is trying so hard to look disinterested.

How old is she now?

Afternoon folks. Whew it was a busy day. Of course a ton of work shows up just before I go on vacation. Ah well.

Friday night in the big city! Party time.

The party level is cranking up. We got a load of laundry going, went to a local restaurant got ourselves fed. Mrs. Carrera wanted to go to TJ Max. I have never been inside one before. I hope to never go back. Then we went to the grocery store. Now are doing more laundry. Do we know how to party or what? Funny thing is, I would rather do that than go to a night club.

And all the other drivers out there are glad you are not surfing Pelican while driving.

I think driving your 911 would be better than surfing Pelican.

Now I want to get the Clockwork Angels album from Rush. The guy at the music store was right. I like to listen on Youtube (or youyube) before I buy, though.

I never get behind the wheel of that car angry. I think Peggy or Willie would be a better choice
