The Stick

Fixed my squealing brakes today! Drove for a mile riding the brakes hard holding speed with lotsa throttle till they got real hot, then cruised for couple of miles without using them. No more squeal!
They are EBC Yellow "streetable track pads." Took about 200 miles to get them bedded in so they didn't squeal. Guess haven't been getting on the binders enough to get them warmed up good and they got glazed.

Thanks. I'm remembering how the food colored water splashes out of the pan and onto the white, melamine counter, staining it.
Friggin pain to clean.

Haha, yeah. Not that bad. It just takes a little longer than the typical rust spot when I forget to move a rinsed out can to the towel.
