That is good news.

We are just a few miles away in a place called Medley's Neck off Breton Beach Road.

I want to wait until my son is home from college this Thanksgiving. If you guys are in the area we could make that work. Jack went to Leonardtown HS (graduated last year) and my daughter went to Ryken.

I converted an old tobacco barn into a workshop, which is heated and air conditioned! If your boys like the outdoors, we have plenty on the farm!

First pic is from the Leonardtown car show earlier this year.

great stuff, our kids are already talking about who gets which car when we die!! So you will need to get more old classics so they don't have to cut your notchback in half!!

I have upset them by telling them that I intend to be buried in Miss Daisy!!

Will (if we get the 85 Carrera) have to take our car to the car show next year.

Hi Paul,

I'm going to be home during the Thanksgiving holiday (Thurs-Sun), so let me know if you're dropping the engine out.

Technical Directors are thrown in with engineers and typically still arent given the tools to properly care for art. Those companies don't value their art or those that create the art and typically rotate staff and have only young talent that dont even know how to protect the company's copyrights and trademarks.

Companies that value their art and realize they make money from it have Art Directors and don't turn off when the title is used.

Brother told me the battery was dead on my Rover. Turned out the steering wheel lock kept him from being able to turn the key.

RKDinOKC 10-23-2012 09:21 AM

Sure will be glad when I can get up and move around again.

Hey D did you get a chance to have a look at that car for me?

My 'puter just had a heart attack, came to a grinding halt, I just had to do a restore in safe mode, all fine (crossed fingers)....

RKDinOKC 10-23-2012 09:52 AM

He couldn't figure out how to honk the horn either.

azzarule 10-23-2012 09:54 AM

ha ha ha,

but i must say my Dad would be like that, I remember going for a drive with him last year and he was scary, he had no idea what half of the buttons on his car did.

The golf course folks came in they want to mount the print sideways with north to the west. My map software wants north up. I have to rotate all the text and then when they display it the text will be readable.

Whatever they want, we are happy to produce. They are quick to pay their bill, so we love em.

azzarule 10-23-2012 02:10 PM

Darell (Nynor) just phoned and the car is as advertised, and he says he would drive it anywhere. So will complete the payment for the sale tonight , and now the logistics of the pickup. My preference is to drive it back, not ship. So ROADTRIP is probably the way to go.

Porsche-poor 10-23-2012 02:21 PM

Road trip!!!!

Go for it.

GH85Carrera 10-23-2012 02:22 PM

As I mentiond before Azzy, just mention a road trip on the 911 technical and OT areas and you will have a support team from SLC to home.

Jim Richards 10-23-2012 02:27 PM

Congrats, Azzy! Great that Darell was able to check it out for you. When you get ready to do the road trip, start a thread in the 911 tech forum and ask for advice, and if folks can provide you support along the way., if necessary. Good luck and enjoy it!

Excellent. If you can't get it, and if you can wait a few weeks, I'll get it for nada, zippy, zero...drive it right to your door.

Porsche-poor 10-23-2012 03:23 PM
