Business. I was doing some crochet. The dude next to me asked me about crochet. Wow...

slodave 09-23-2012 07:07 PM

I used to crochet. :)

Porsche-poor 09-23-2012 07:20 PM

And you stopped why? Coughing up the yarn balls tuff?

tweezers74 09-23-2012 07:21 PM

Cool, Dave! What did you crochet? You know, I guess I shouldn't be surprised. I had a guy friend who use to knit. Hey, if I like Porsches, I shouldn't be so surprised when a guy likes to knot or crochet. :)

I am crocheting some headbands for snowboarding season! :)

Porsche-poor 09-23-2012 08:11 PM

I have had my 911 for 16 years. My wife drove it a mile or so once 16 years ago. All the driving on the long trips is me doing the driving.

1/3 of an acre most on a 45 degree slope. Went after the few remaining blackberry vines. Slipped and jared the back. Stiff sore and thinking next year I'll pay to have them killed.

Outback Porsche 09-23-2012 08:56 PM

Ouch!

Porsche-poor 09-23-2012 09:02 PM

Probably fine by morning if not I'll gimp to work and park it there.

Outback Porsche 09-23-2012 09:24 PM

Hope so David.

I've got a dodgey back and neck from football injuries - and being a bullet proof ***** in my teens and 20's. Not much fun when it decides to play up. Been getting regular maintenance from a local bone cracker for the last year - best it's been for a long time.

Porsche-poor 09-23-2012 09:36 PM

I learned from my grandmother. She loved to knit and crochet, so when I was dropped off in Germany, while my parents would travel to other places, I see her do her thing. Mostly pot holders and the occasional hat. I could also knit a bit, but I liked to crochet better.

tweezers74 09-23-2012 10:34 PM

Crocheting is faster and you can get different types of stitches. More artistic. Knitting is harder but I think more clean. Takes forever though. I knitted some cable knit beanies for last years snowboarding season and they turned out cute but just took forever. :(

This year, crochet flowers and hats are in for girls so I am taking advantage of it for my nieces. Want to try and make one of those infinity scarves too. :)

No worries, i know you were not being serious... :D

Chance of getting caught speeding here is quite small.
Costly when it happens though.

slodave 09-23-2012 10:51 PM

Eh, Carrera's are better than SC's anyway. :)

Noah930 09-23-2012 11:31 PM

But I thought the SC's were "Super."

slodave 09-23-2012 11:33 PM

Totally imaging that being said in a gay fashion - not that there is anything wrong with that. :D
