Oh boy, I get to start doing my own wound care. And it involves daily debrising, ouch. The debrising is managed by putting the bandage on the would so removing it the next day rips any scabbing off. Sounds like something I am really looking forward to.

Doc says I should be walking again by Christmas and that is much faster than normal.

Why not dust wrap it in duct tape?

The Mom of the girl I took to the prom was the spanish teacher at the high school we went to. She avoided being anywhere she thought her Mom might be. Not sure why.

I ruined my chances at anything long term with the girl. Was spending an evening at her house and her mom asked my opinion of a dress she had just finished making and her daughter was modeling for me. It was white with big bright colorful polkadots all over it. If that wasn't bad enough the collar and sleeves had big white ruffles. I said if you added some big buttons down the front it would make a perfect clown suit. The mom and daughter's jaws hit the floor, and her dad laughed out loud. Maybe I should have said it was cute?

the number nine is a major component of many numerical systems. if you take any part of the number 9 and its remainder, you have a multiple of the number 9, regardless of order: 7:2, 2:7, 4:5, etc. also if you add the digits of any multiple of the number 9, you will get 9. then, if you take the number nine and think of it as 3 and 6, but also 3 sixes, 3 sixes (666) add up to 18, which is the number 9 in disguise. anyway, the fun with the number 9 goes on and on.

as for other numbers, i like prime numbers. if i set my alarm to a minute number that isn't prime, i'll think about its prime derivatives until i am truly awake. thus, my alarm clock is always set to something like 05:07 or 05:11.

don't worry. you aren't the only one that thinks that i am nuts. my wife thinks i am completely off my rocker. toys in the attic, you might say.
Actually, that makes a lot of sense to me. It also freaks me out a little now that you point that out. I will be thinking about 9 for a while now.

Just that the things I bolded are the same thing just said backwards and forwards. The second way you said it was easier for me to understand, though.

I can understand the thing with the alarm clock and prime numbers. I try not to let my compulsions rule my behavior, but as far as times go I like the 09:00 hour, as in 09:11, 09:17, 09:56, etc. But I rarely up and about at 05:50AM so I need to allow for a 12 hour clock and not military time. Or just think that it is 5:50 am in Germany when it is 9:30 pm here.

I solved my drill press issue/mill issue. Use the lathe! I just have to center the knob, easy to do with a slightly smaller bit than the original hole. Once centered, cinch it up in the jam chuck with a hose clamp, spin up the lathe and extend the drill bit into the knob. The larger hole is as centered as can be.

It is a nice shop. You just can't really do any metal work in it.

Well it seems that I need to pack more for lunch, since Mongo likes to help me eat mine. Mongo is a kid I work with, he is 6-5, tips the scales around 350-ish and decided that if he can see it it is fair game. Super nice kid but damn......................
Beth sent in a bag of laffy taffy yesterday because Mongo likes them but she said he had to share them with me, I got four of them.
Today I am going to set the ground rules, he goes near my poptarts I am going to skin him.

Morning Jim.
Dave wars have started in the south over a poptart. Little known fact but Ft. Sumter was actually the first distribution facility for poptarts. need I say more?
