Well she is pretty smart, she bought a White 85 Carrera and had one of the other Stijn regulars check out the car before she made an offer.

We always called 10 lbs of crap in a 5 pound bag a blivet.

A situation so vile no matter how well you deal with it you will still get dirty.

Oh yeah, I resemble your MIL, if I get started on the 'net, facebook PP that sort of thing, I don't do anything else for ages, then I get bored (that's why I disappeared for months at a time) then do some sewing and watch telly instead of typing.

I say to the hubby that I can quilt/knit/sew and watch telly at the same time, so at least I am being productive. But when I am on the laptop, I don't get anything else done except watch telly, no productivity there.

So you took a happy productive woman and made her an unproductive geek, good one!!!

My wife gets that way too. I got her a iPad for Christmas two years ago. I bet she has read 100 books from the libary. She can download them for free. That is the right price for her.

jeff, it seems that the tailgating has really ramped up. i am trying to get the emissions stuff in the rover working correctly, so i did some circuits around the neighborhood, etc. every circuit, i had at least on person tailgate me. and i am talking right on my arse, like they are trying to put salt on my tail. seriously, it is all the time.

tailgating? Hmmph, don't you have to check the proper functioning of your brakes from time to time?

lately, when i do that, they just get closer. i've taken to slowing down until they back off or pass. some of them are really pissed that they are going 20 in 40MPH zone. most of the time, they are tailgating me where there are multiple lanes, including the freeway. and so close i am a bit freaked out. when all i can see is the ford emblem on their front grill in my mirror, there is a problem.

Evening Y'all.
I have a solution for tailgating (providing I am not driving Peggy, that is a whole nother subject)
I just lock them up and nail the gas at the same time then flip them the bird
