Howdy Jim and the rest.

It was nice to drive to work and NOT hear the exhaust leak. If the bolts do not stay tight now I am going to install studs in the head and then I can use locking header nuts. From what I read i am supposed to cuts a notch in the length of the stud just to give it more bite into the head and that locks it in place.

I used high temp locktite this time. Time will tell if that works.

what i am seeing is that the 300 blackout round tops out at ~2300 ft/s. that is terrible, IMO.

they claim more energy at 300 meters than the 7.62x39, but i cannot see how that is possible, being that the muzzle velocity of a 7.62x39 is 2400 ft/s and higher, with a bullet that is nearly identical in diameter and similar in weight (125gr vs. 123gr).

anyway....

good morning, peeps.

Just joking.

One good thing about nursing, there are always jobs available. Good luck!

Hey tweeze, sorry to hear about your job.

Should I ask my son to look around at the two hospitals he works at (Newport Beach & Irvine) to see if there's an opportunity for you? He's on vacation this week but I can ask him when he gets back, assuming that's of interest to you.

Holy 5hit, 1000hp, you hve got to be joking, but I suppose the car probably weighs a few ton, so it all equals out, .... maybe.

I love that Jag, very cool.

I believe the caddy is near 3 tons.

Yeah. SS marked cars are pretty rare. Even more so in that condition.

That sucks Tweeze. I get the feeling in my water, you're not going to be unemployed for long and luck will have nothing to do with it. Wishing you get what you want.

Morning All

Nice pics Joe. The Landy looks good.

Love the SS - the steering wheel is on the correct side
