Needed to put a new battery in the Highlander today. Wife had the pick-up so.........
P- car to the rescue. Gave the new battery a ride through the White Mountains of N.H.
before finally installing it. Never know when it'll be the last ride of the year.

I thought the Highlander was immortal?

Happy Birthday, Glen.

Happy birthday Glen, hope you had a lovely day.

And belated birthday wishes to you too Pete.

Lovely morning at the Amish Auction, I never knew there were that many farming/outdoorsy tools. Glad I don't need a horse as there were heaps there too, and rabbits (no the eating kind), ducks, chickens, guinea pigs, kittens (Seahawk got two), turkeys, now if they were dead and dressed, I would have got one of them!!!

Bought Blueberry pie, a loaf of bread and some cream filled donuts, I feel myself getting fatter everyday!!

But I also noted that there is an Amish quilt auction next Saturday, so I will be going to that, maybe won't be able to afford to buy anything, but I just want to go and see them, they should be beautiful.

porsche4life 11-10-2012 07:18 PM

Hard to beat amish food....

Should have asked about the turkey... I'm sure they would have deaded and dressed one for you...

i'd be willing to bet the quilts will be in the $1K+ range.

porsche4life 11-10-2012 07:41 PM

Probably right D... But they will be damn nice quilts....

Those amish could help you build a garage for your new toy as well... Nothing better than an amish barn...

Happy Birthday, Glen!!! You and I are the same age. ;)

GH85Carrera 11-10-2012 08:07 PM

Thanks Tweze.

Busy day for me today. I got out the ladder and change a floodlight bulb for the back yard. Replaced the batteries in the rain - freeze sensor for the sprinkler system. We put the cover on the pond to keep the leaves out, and took apart the fountain in the front yard for winter.

Porsche-poor 11-10-2012 08:11 PM

Evening all. I think I have won the win 8 battle. For now at least.

GH85Carrera 11-10-2012 08:14 PM

So what 8 things did you win?
