I asked this in the tech forum but I figured someone here should know. Do 911 and 930 cv joints use the same splines? We are looking at 930 CV joints for the outer cv on our inboard front brakes, but we would like something a bit lighter on the inners front and rear.

G'day All

Nearly time to drag my date out of the fart sack and do something. Dunno what yet. Looks like another nice day again - high 30 something (deg C).

Spent most of yesterday on the turps with a bunch of mates - a dry day is in order today me thinks.

porsche4life 11-17-2012 02:28 PM

Dry days are overrated jeff..... Better get back on the turps...

Noah, you always have good stuff in your house. Ice cream stuff and cheese. But then again, roast beef sounds good too. Funny. I am eating now too. :) pho or Vietnamese beef soup. I am a foodie. Can you tell?

Maybe you're just pregnant.

porsche4life 11-17-2012 02:52 PM

You're gunna get a beatdown for that one I suspect....

Noah930 11-17-2012 03:05 PM

From Tweeze or Mrs. Noah?

Jim Richards 11-17-2012 03:31 PM

Wow congrats tweeze! Just kidding. :D

Alarick you're probably gonna get smacked by both of them. :p

We don't have any pho in our house right at the moment, but we do have some fermented sticky rice wine. Looks kind of like this.

My wife is going to bring some of that stuff (rice wine with a poached egg in it) over to our sick neighbor to help her feel better.

Jim Richards 11-17-2012 03:32 PM

I'll bet some of that stuff can fix Rick's sick DME relay.

Seriously d?!? Roughly, mix 4 parts cornmeal, 3parts water, 1 part butter. Get a skillet going with some oil and basically pretend you're making little pancakes. Freaking good stuff. I use blue corn meal and a little bit of raw cane sugar....

Flieger 11-17-2012 07:00 PM

Lost tire? No problem.

This one is neat. The last few minutes is a rider point of view camera on an uphill pass. Rider is the girl on the CBR.

slodave 11-17-2012 08:24 PM

Totally not in my comfort zone. At a family wedding. It's loud, crowded, and I hate suits.

GH85Carrera 11-17-2012 08:28 PM

Dave, hopefully there is free beer there.

slodave 11-17-2012 08:31 PM

Yes! There is. Double fisted my first round.
