Well, the other people have been there all year. I've only been a few weeks and haven't really done anything major on the car. I have no fabrication skills and did not design anything. I don't deserve to go to competition this year and with the budget, that means that more people who deserve to go can go.

Next year I am definately going. I never imagined I would this year. So I did not give up on it. I did not even think I would be doing nearly this many hours on this year's car. This is just a sort of introductory period for me.

Up at 7, in class until 4, in the shop till 10:45, in bed at 1:00. Not all the fun I had envisioned the program to be.

Are you going to deny simple logic.
If you tried to explain suspension systems with me and I replied as you are.
You would look at me and shake your head.
Your situation is common with intellectuals.
Look around, you see it all the time.
They are all clever thinking they will work it out.
So smart they never see there was nothing to work out.
And thats why they miss it.
You are cought in the world of book knowledge.
Learning about things first, then doing.
Max, Its not like that, it requires a different way.
The doing is the learning way.

If you fly up here I'll go out to a coffee house or something like that with you. But I am a very picky eater. Plus I have been just having one (albeit large) meal a day (at night) for many years now. It is much easier to do stuff during the day when there is no need to plan for breakfast, lunch, or any of that stuff.
