Just changed insurers for my home and contents - same policy conditions/coverage and $300 (15%) less than the other wankers wanted. The other wankers had bumped my premium up by 10% this year. I couldn't see them matching the new quote - didn't bother wasting my time and raised blood pressure to give them the chance.

Ho! Ho! Ho! Putting up the Christmas lights on the house. Yay! Green font. Boys have been begging for me to do it. Off to pretend I am in the holiday spirit. :)

I suspect the 1 to 3 hour estimate on the instructions is for the average homeowner with no tools and skills. (Or a woman)

Thems fighting words there; women usually read the instructions, have all tools ready to go, and have some idea what they are doing. Men usually never read the instructions, don't have the right tools on hand, and have to drive off down to Lowes (or equivalent) to get 'something', disappear for about 4 hours and come home with a truckload of tools to do the job whether they needed them or not!!
