Garage
Kinda funny the family built a farm house for a Y2K bunker out there. They tried to make it a combination of a recreational cabin, a bunker, and a self-sufficient earth ship. Too many compromises makes it fail at all three.

Not yet. It looks like it's gonna cut loose any time now. Streets and sidewalks are salted. So much for going out for a cruise in the garage queen.

Less than 24 hours before we (me & the doggie) head out to SoCal.

My cold is almost gone, just a little sinus pressure. I don't usually keep a cold for too long

If you need helpnwith the tv/stereo, got mine re-wired so the tv does the source switching. makes it easier to do netflicks. The only thing my receiver does now is the surround.
Ya know, Mrs Carrera and I were discussing the LACK of new carpet stink. When I left for several hours and came back just after they were done there is only a very faint smell of new carpet. I suspect it is the higher grade of carpet and pad. The carpet has a lifetime stain warranty.

It looks like it will be several weeks before we get the new dogs. The female is already 2.5 years old and the owner is going to have her spayed before we get her. Same lady had a different dog that had a litter of puppies that are only 4 weeks old. She keeps any puppy for 12 weeks. We will get both at once. The older dog has been around a pack all her life. There is no way would we bring he here and make her be alone while we are at work.

Rick, D, I hope you guys are feeling better.

It's been trying to snow on and off over the past couple of hours. Nothing's sticking on the ground. I hope that's it for this weather system.

All vestiges of Christmas-decor are put away until Dec 2013. One of the advantages of condo living is not having a helluva lot to decorate.
