Done napping, and decided to build that 3rd shower wall with Ytong.

I should try and sell this idea to my boss, napping as problem solving technique.
The bigger the problem the longer the nap.

ytong wall is up to about 1m75, will let it rest now before doing the upper parts so the glue can cure first...

Also not sure yet what to do with the top end, go up to the ceiling, or not... ceiling would be more stable, as then it anchores on 3 sides , vs 2. Even though it's lightweight, i don't want it caving in on me while i'm in the shower... + it will support the tiles as well, and they are quite heavy.

pain in the ass that hardly anything else in the house is straight... which is typical for houses from the 1920'ies around here..
few foundations, roof beams that sagged a bit over time... I suppose contractors are used to it, but for a first time DIY'er like myself, it's not that easy to work with.

I think i'll add another piece of ytong at the backend, like that single piece you see standing in the bottom, but going up a bit higher
to Brace it a little bit with an L-shape ( that would be the rear left side, not visable in this picture)

just checked, that left wall looks solid , well, there's a little wiggle in it, i probably could knock it over if i put my weight in to it,
but that's normal for a 2.5 inch thick wall that isn't supported on one end. Should be pretty solid once i connect up to the ceiling, and ad that support to the side.

good thing i took a 2 hour nap to decide on the right way to go forward.

BBQ!

A little hard to see, but there is a huge smoke plume towards the lower right corner.
