Morning. Going to work a half day. Up and already exhausted.

I am eagerly awaiting the S***mageddon we are supposed to have this afternoon, camera is all ready to go. Sorry Rick!! What can I say, I love the stuff (in short bursts anyway), its just fun for a few hours or a few days, but after that its a bluddy nuisance.

Always remember a big snowfall we had in Canberra w mainly around the airport and the base only, huge drifts across the tarmac and around the hangar, well we all went mad snowball fights, snowmen, the whole shebang, all these grown men and senior officers having a ball in uniform chucking snowballs, the offices in the hangar took a few days to dry off from the melting snowballs, great fun.

So let the s*** begin!

Going to Washington for the weekend, I know it is going to be busy, but have to go. Not staying for Monday though, that would be just too hard to get around in. Rather come home Sunday night. Midget has a long weekend with school, and we will take the son and GF up with us so they can get a look at DC, doing the museums etc.

Jim, I really like DC, although I am not sure I would live there, but as an educational and tourist destination is reminds me of Canberra, Australia's national capital, similar government funded cultural city, with some have and a lot of have not residential areas.

Hello all! David, hope you feel better soon. :( I just got my flu shot on Thursday. Had a little cold this week but think I am on the upswing now. Haven't run at all this week so the half is going to be interesting this weekend. My friend who has been taking pole for quite some time took me a "cardio pole" class at the studio she goes to. Made a fool of myself but two days post, I have to say it definitely fulfilled its purpose. My arms and abs are killing me. Can barely lift my computer bag without wincing. Need to keep up with this.
