Hey Rick, when you clean engine sheet metal and get ready to paint do you just rattle can with similar gloss? I don't want to bother powder coating. This is a driver, not a show car.

Rattle can would be fine Glen... High heat rattle can for those high heat places...

The duplicolor stuff at Oriellys is pretty good, better than the new krylon for sure...

Hey Rick. How did you weather the flood. It was cats and dogs here for a while last night.

We have had two nights of heavy rain, but it's springtime so we kind of expect it.

I'm pretty sure the compound of the water is the same this year as it was last year.

Although I do need it off my lawn, if I don't cut it soon I am going to have to get some equipment made by NewHolland

Well lets just beat on me a little more.......................

One of the grandparents from Pittsburgh was supposed to come down here today and stay the week, she is going to be one of the people responsible for the grandson's care so she needs to be trained on his needs and Beth and I had child care covered for the last week we will have them. Yeah looks like her chevy tossed the body control module so it will be wed at the earliest by my calculations. Here we go again scrambling to find someone to keep the kids so we can try and earn some money. FML (and F chevy) You wonder why I detest domestic vehicles, because they build crap that fails in less than 40k miles. But I forgot, these are the vehicles we want and are supposed to buy

Thanks, Jim. That was sweet.

Rick, goodness! When it rains, it pours. I would say that is the most stressful thing about having kids. Finding good care for them and secondly, when you have to find emergency care, it brings it to a whole new level. And when I didn't have kids, I didn't understand that stress of parents. I was always like," wouldn't you have a process set up beforehand to address this if it happened?" Oh how I eat the words from my past. That's why I try my hardest to sympathize for people and not judge. You never know what a person is going through unless you are them and going exactly through what they are going through. Which is never going to happen so long story short, don't judge.

I feel for you, Rick.

Best laid plans of mice and men as they say Rick, but doesn't she have anyone she can borrow a car off. I know I would just go ask a friend, or jeez hire a car for the weekend, its not going to kill them is it.

thanks for the Mother's Day wishes Rick, Jim. Had a lovely brekkie (which I cooked myself), but a nice easy day, nothing planned but to relax.

watching the Spanish F1 Grand Prix, taped it earlier, didn't get up early enough, and also too busy cooking brekkie to watch, so just catching up now.
