R/C plane...for scale fun go aerobatic, extra, caps, sukoi, or edge. If you want slow scale fun Piper Cub kits are cool as most have pontoons you can swap for the wheels to fly off water. With Cubs you can also get a wing kit and build it up clipped wing to be more aerobatic and keep a full wing for lazy cruising. If you want to pose spend a whole gob of money on a jet with a turbine engine.
When I was into R/C plane I had both and aero plane and the cub too. Did not only the pontoon thing, but added and electric starter for the engine so I could restart on the pond, or as it turned out, spin the starter to bring it back to shore so I could mess with the engine to get it running. Was still pretty cool to set the plane on a pond, punch a button on the radio to start it, then taxi out and take off. |
OH, and whatever you do, if you really like your RC plane, never fly it. As your Dad found, they will all crash and burn at some point.

Morning Y'all.

Morning Rick!

You are up late. Can't sleep thinking about the snow?
Did you figure out your 80's attire? |
Morning Tweeze and Max

god morgon.

So you are a Mopar guy, Rick? I just can't get past the Mach 1. :)
|
Morning sleepy heads.
|
I cut my teeth on Mopar. My Grandfather was a Mopar wrench, my Dad was a Mopar wrench before he went to Porsche. There has never been a time where I haven't had at least one in the driveway, and I have had a couple of rather nasty ones that I wish I still had, or at least still had the engines from

Interesting you don't hear about the 5 pointed star down under. Just GM (Holden) and Ford.

Catch you on the flip side. |

They had a presence here until the early '80s, first as Chrysler then Chrysler Mitsubishi towards the end. Mitsubishi then swallowed them up, until the late 90s when Chrysler came back to Oz with the Neon(what a great little car). They've got a couple of models out here now but not a big presence.

It has been sad to watch a mighty company like Chrysler fall like it did. Most of the coveted muscle cars, and the ones that bring the most money are Chryslers. They did do it right for a while
|
Chryslers, these days?... Barf.
Morning, caffeine drip, commence! |
