Luckily they believe in beer here, so you have something to wash it down with!

Nope, that is Hershey PA. They had the blandest food I have ever eaten. I asked for some Tabasco at one "BBQ" dinner. They had to break the seal on it an it was so old it was separated.

Oh bother! The better half of team Robbo has been diagnosed with Planter Fasciitis. :(

The hike over Cradle Mtn is in jeopardy as she's unable to do any training walks.

Tricks? That's all I'm going to say.

You know what? When I finally get my routine together I AM going to post it. You know why? To show you guys it can be very pretty and it takes a ton of strength and skill. It isn't the stripper pole stuff I know you guys are thinking of. Yes, it can be sensual but I think all dance is to a certain extent. Just you guys wait. When I compete in my first competition, I expect all of you to come cheer for me.

nynor 05-29-2013 09:17 PM

oh, no doubt it takes strength and skill. i couldn't do that stuff, if i wanted to. more power to you, tweeze. but your post, talking about poles and such, was really funny!!!!

You're welcome to join us.

Early days yet - we'll see how she goes with the treatment before we throw in the towel.

tweezers74 05-29-2013 09:24 PM

Why? D, I think if you met me you would be amused. I pretty much talk like that in conversation. I was talking to a guy the other day, first time I met him, and we covered all types of subjects and at one point of the conversation, he hangs his head down laughing and shaking his head. He says,"I must say I have never talked about the most random topics of conversation with anybody in my life, let alone a person I just met."

Seriously, I make friends wherever I go. Not because I am trying to but I enjoy meeting new people and finding out their passions and sharing mine. For example, I met a girl in Colorado two weeks ago, and now we text and chat all the time. And I find out she is into cars! Not European cars but whatever. Really cool. new people teach me new things about the world. It's a good thing.
