I went to Bali once with just the clothes on my back.

Came home with three suitcases.

Didn't even take a boogie board with me on that trip ;)

It's not nicer to take other people's suit cases.

It saves on wasted time shopping. It's like a big lucky dip :)

Here is the Cayenne with the suspension on the low setting.

Usually travel with only a carry on. Friends of mine did a tour of Europe and lived out of a briefcase size bag for a month. Said it added to the experience to shop for toiletries.

Porsche-poor 08-10-2014 02:06 PM

12 days one carry on per person.

Well have the garage door opener programed, the seat memory set and assigned to my key and figured out most of the interior lighting switches/settings. Oh and, checked all the fluids and topped off the gas tank. Did I mention this thing does NOT drive like a 5000lb SUV.

I am rapidly becoming the master of the pack small, nowhere as skilled as Sid but not too shabby

porsche4life 08-10-2014 03:27 PM

Haha. We didn't pack light this weekend. One 50lb checked bag, 4 carry ons plus backpacks.... But we have both kids and are here for a wedding...

Last weekend however, we made it with one carry on for the both of us!

Of course it was Hawaii we just needed shorts and swim suits!

So true.

The Elky runs again.

The tank is a pain to R&R. My legs are sore fom all the bending and squatting.

Porsche-poor 08-10-2014 08:05 PM

Be your back with out the lift.

GH85Carrera 08-10-2014 08:33 PM

The lift was handy but to disconnect the tank straps and to reconnect them the car is pretty low to get the tank high enough. Lots of on my back time. Lots of squatting.

Porsche-poor 08-10-2014 08:41 PM

Time for a beer.

RKDinOKC 08-11-2014 01:13 AM

Well, my weekend was half-good, half-bad. Good part is I got the Cayenne. The bad part is nobody monied up for the Rover yet. Hate to see it sit outside.

Going by to see my mechanic with the Cayenne today to see if he can look it over and use the ride height calibration feature to lower it an inch.

Porsche-poor 08-11-2014 07:03 AM

RKDinOKC 08-11-2014 07:54 AM
