Michael, we're hoping to go west (permanently) sometime in mid-to-late 2015.

I went to my 10th only because it was an good excuse to go see me brother & sister in law. My 40th was just last year. I skipped it.

I only knew those folks for two years. Never saw any of them after graduation. I went to my wife's 40th. She had fun because she knew some of them from the 1st grade through high school. I can talk to anyone so I enjoyed it.

I only spent one year at the HS I graduated from. Never saw any value in attending reunions.

Santa Cruz Baby but, I'm still a Midwestern Boy! Commuting over the hill for over 20 years now to work in SV. Met my wife in '86 who's a fourth Gen San Franciscan and stayed when I discharged from the Nav in '89.

For me the the quality of my life experiences and the environment that I've been able to raise my daughters in has been worth every penny of the expense.

Yea, it never worked for me. My wife had a good stable job when we got married. She owned a house and drove a paid for car and could understand cash flow. Much like me.

Maybe if we win the lottery we will be rich. I think I need to buy a lottery ticket to win however. I can't see wasting my hard earned money on a lottery ticket.

My Grad class had a 5 yr,,, Didn't go to that one either. To much like HS still.

I had fun at my 20. Was a significantly different dude than in HS and it was satisfying to notice everyone's reactions to that.

Since I haven't seen any of the pictures everyone is talking about, I will hold off on the "WOO HOO!" at this time.

Stijn!!

I loved all the reunions I went to. A blast.

And I love the Bay Area. And capitola!!! I love that little ice cream shop on the corner. I always wanted to rent one of those little places right on the beach there and bring a beach cruiser and just ride around all day and fall asleep on the patio, listening to the waves. Maybe...

And I am such a romantic that I would go for a guy with no money but treated me nicely and was sweet. I have learned I can earn my own money. I need someone to complement me. And the women I know who have just gone for money, I detest their morals and character so I don't ever wish to be a person like that.

91 and sunny tomorrow...I guess we're going on the boat. The thing I hate about going on the boat is, I want to lay around and hubs wants to race everyone so they know how big his...engine..is.

Oh, no doubt. To find a woman with a keen intelligence and like a lot of the same stuff as I do took me many years of dating. I got lucky.

After 21 years we know each other pretty well.

I think I need to find a country boy. Seriously. My friends from the south are so sweet but yet strong and know how to treat a woman. I tell my sister who lives in Texas to find me a sweet man. Sometimes I think men in the west have gotten so relaxed that they don't have any idea about chivalry. And I think men misunderstand my independence for not being traditional. I love assuming the traditional womanly role for my man but I don't want him to EXPECT it.

On a side note, I don't feel like w&$@!-ing. Yesterday was a good day at work so my brain has already signed off. Might be going to Denver again for work. Maybe I can get up there to snowboard again.

Tweeze you need to find a Midwestern Navy man raised in a big family with simple down home morality yet who has seen enough of the world and is open enough to realize the beauty of all that is not Midwestern.

Not talking of me of course,,, I'm happily taken.

This is what I tell all my friends. Don't take this the wrong way but the more intelligent you are, the more you have interests that are atypical of the general population, it is very difficult to find the right mix in the opposite sex. Sure, I like to do a lot of things guys like to do so I got that down and actually sets me apart from many women. It's hard to find a woman who's pretty, smart, likes motorcycles and cars (and not just willing to look at them at pretty car shows but to get dirty under the hood or ride that dirt bike). I only know one other woman in all the people I know that fits that description. So a man is lucky to find a woman like that. My problem is that I can't find a man that can mirror me in that. The sweetness balancing his macho. But eh. We don't always get what we want, do we? Its like trying to find a unicorn. I have accepted that. Glen, you are a very lucky man. Love her and appreciate her. But I know you do. Her garden is lovely.
