have flight (arrive april 1st, depart april 6)
have rental car.
have entered Ronde von Vlanderen cyclosportif.
have plans to watch the real Ronde roadside.
have plans to possibly race again on the 5th.

have no other plans.

You mentioned a BBQ on sunday? that sounds good, if I can get there in any reasonable time after the Ronde. not sure how that will work out as we may be jumping in on a "tour" deal including seeing the finish, meeting some of the riders, etc.

ok, finish is around 15:40 in Meerbeke, which is at least a hour and a half driving from where i am..

You won't be buggering off once the first riders finish. And meet and greets with drivers, don't happen at the finish line either, them boys need to get worked on before they are capable of anything after such a distance...


4th of April, i doubt the weather will be good enough for a late evening BBQ yet...
So it might easier to plan, that we come where you are, on one of those days...
maybe Brugge, the day before.. ?

I think sunday is going to be the day, boys, as there is lots going on the other days. a drive-by might work on friday but I'm not going to be drinking beers and eating bbq the night before a 260k deathride. Stijn, I thought you said you lived right on the course? I'm still liking the idea of swinging over after the Ronde is finished on sunday.

We may just have to play it by ear. I will bring my i-phone too so we can communicate.

Aubergine is good for a 10% boost in HP and Torque. It's the hot set-up.

the closest the Ronde passes in my region, is about 20 clicks..
Gman's place isn't even on this map, it's closer to Holland, which explains a lot...
