Couldn't have done it with out them! Hope you liked the goodies...

That black sticker goes on the glass on the inside of the the third brake light... Then when you hit the brakes you have a glowing red Porsche crest....

Hehe.... I think I have dad talked into an e36 BMW... Possibly even an M... He's been looking at something fun and sporty for mom. Had been looking at Minis but they are so stinking high... and seem to have plenty of issues. Seems the e36s are pretty good cars though... and a better price range to boot....

I'm really pulling for the M....

The drive went fine, I got home in time to mow the yard.

1997 BMW M3 COUPE, 5 SPD VERY RARE ESTROIL BLUE

mmm.... M3 goodness....

Not sure I like the idea of my mom driving an M3.... Her car would be faster than mine... Way faster....

All my mates in college were either one of two camps: BMW's or WRX's. I drove so many BMW's.. lots of E30's, lots of E36's... the E36's are neat cars, cheap, reliable, comfortable, mildly quick...

but man I think they are boring. Everyone has one. Even in missouri, you see 8 of them everyday on the way to work. Cookie cutter cars. The M3 is a step up, but an E36 M3 is only pushing about 240HP, and weighs 3200 lbs. They run out of quick pretty early.

I'm talking my mother into a tiptronic 986. Keeping it in the Porsche family.

Problem with a 986... Only two seats.... Mom doesn't need boxster like handling... I mean all the roads here are flat... And a 3series is still pretty rare here...

They are pretty bulletproof cars for daily drivers. The automatics are such buzzkills though.

A bright red Porsche roadster? Cliche in a movie sense maybe, but they are still moderately rare to the 6 BMW's on my block. I may pass 1 Boxster on my way to work every day. It stands out enough.

A black on black 3 series is about the most blend in car you can have here.

Hmm... Of course my views are jaded.... In OK any German car sighting is cool... There are only a handful in my area... Cept the VWs...

Still thinking an M3 would be cool... Would be the only one in town. Maybe not the only 3 but definitely the only M... Damn rednecks just don't know a good car...

Working on a Sunday.

Not much space. I had yet to mount the 8 port switch.

Cable test okay? This is the Tx, Rx is at the patch panel.
