Mmmmmm... Pinkberry. I am addicted to their yogurt. They don't have one in AZ so I gorge myself on it while I am here. Got it two minutes away from my gate... Before I got my luggage.

Not quite. Malibu is about 10 minutes away, though. An afternoon would be good for me. I might be able to bring the 911 too.

After 3 works fine for me. I am still looking for an engineering job so I have a very flexible schedule. Friday would be good.

I like my Mom's cousin's house. It has flagstone floors with water hydrants and drains inside the house. They just hose it down.

The view from my room. I can see the ocean! Haven't been in it in so long! Excited. Hope I have some time to walk around and maybe surf!

Sweet! I hope it clears up tomorrow. I didn't like the overcast today because it wasn't any cooler.

We got a whopping .26 inches of rain here. The good news is the temperature outside dropped a lot. That is great news because the air conditioner decided to quit. It is 83 inside right now. I am glad we have a lot of ceiling fans.

The good news is we can get the AC compressor replaced tomorrow. Only $4,200 ouch.

It's called the Bavinger House and is just East of Norman OK. It's architecturally famous, designed by Bruce Goff. Built in a creek bank with a swinging bridge across the creek. They grow orchids on the walls and there is an indoor Koi pond with stepping stones crossing it to go between the living and dining areas. The second picture is looking from the dining across the pond to the living area. The bowl with the light at the bottom is one of the bedrooms that hang from the ceiling like a bird cage. Those turquoise blue chunks are slag from a glass factory in OK. They are positioned to filter the light coming into the house. All the rock was collected locally, from farmers fields. There are tons of rose rock throughout at different levels like the blue glass. The walls of the house spiral out like a nautilus shell following the same golden ratios. At the point log e would be radially graphed is a huge vulcanic stone suspended over a pool with water pumped up through it to make a fountain. At Pi there is a huge granite pi symbol. Google Bavinger house for lots more pics and info.

Rick, got your note, thanks - get back with in a bit.

Azzy, don't think I can make it up that far this go around.

Apologies to you all, my social skills have sucked the past few months. Way too much time spent working and on the road.

Hey Sid,

I'm sorry!!!

Owe you a giant apology, our email from like two months ago was buried in my almost full PM box and personal email. I never got back to you on your site.

Offers still there, happy to talk to you a bit and hook you up with my biz partner if you'd like. Very least I owe you a beer for ignoring you for so long.

No worries Pete. I got busy not long after and haven't really touched it since then.... I'm on an extended trip too and with summer school I haven't gotten back to it.

Nice pic, tweeze. Have a great stay. We're down at the southern end of OC, past Laguna Beach. Maybe when we have more overlap in our schedules...

Richard, thanks for the info. I'll look that place up on the Internet.

Nice view. Evil bloody palm trees.

Funny, it doesn't matter where you go in the world a subway smells the same. Can't say the same for many other fast food joints.
