Awesome D!

Had a chat with the Jag dealer GM today, looks like things are gonna work out amenable for all parties.......though he was very un amused that his service manager had hidden the situation from him to such a degree that she intercepted faxes I sent over addressed to him....I smell a service manager j9b opening soon....

Let me look in the attic.

Nope, but I have a spare alternator for the El Camino, a spare starter, water pump, AC compressor and a pair starters for the 911. No Merc parts. I loaded all the Merc parts in the trunk when we sold the wife's 320.

Good Tuesday morning folks. It is still raining in Oklahoma.

It is 72 degrees and the high is only gonna be 81.

They move your state? To say the pacific NW?

Morning all. Big stress take away last night, the boys in the band finally made some decisions and gave one kid the boot and hired a replacement. No angry parents so far.

Hillenbrand is a great writer.

When you're ready, stop by and get, "Seabiscuit: An American Legend".

It is not just about the horse!

Thanks Paul, will do, I haven't read Seabiscuit. I really liked Unbroken, the historical facts, Hillenbrand's writing style etc. Was finishing it up last night, and hadn't realised the last 20 odd pages was the bibliography and acknowledgements, so sadly I have finished it already.

Great historically factual read about the life of an airman during the air war in the Pacific. I like the fact that, although not preaching, it does give the faith (Christian) message, which could apply really to any faith you want to pick that gives you a feeling of something uplifting, and gives you a reason to go on.

Onto the next book tonight a biography on Bruce Springsteen that I bought at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

just thought I would put that up there, not that anyone is upsetting me or anything!

But I thought it might give some a laugh.

The state is still in the same place, it is just the weather that has calendar slippage.

The high is going to be mid 80s every day all week.

We have had over twice the rainfall of Seattle for 2013!

Yeah we have an am marine layer that rolls in but is gone before noon. Rain likely on Friday so I have to drive it now while I have the chance.

That and with fewer bands to run to I am not hauling gear everywhere so I can enjoy the car.

Evening Y'all
I like the kick me statement, I think I will squirrel that one away for later use.
Oh and in case anybody is interested, You can't always believe what you read. Valeo is NOT I repeat NOT a factory part nor a factory supplier for Mercedes.
O.E.M. is Bosch.
Here endith the lesson
