Dang it. Finally hear back from this company after a month long background check and I don't get the job. No reason given in the automated email. Wish they'd have rejected me sooner. I thought I would get it after the initial conversations went so well.

Max, I will be in Monterrey next year for Porsche Parade. We will need to get together for dinner one night. I would offer to buy you a beer but that is about offering to buy you (or myself) a Cigar.

I will need to set up a meeting with a bunch of the California Pelicans. We have almost a year to plan it. :D

They are quite a ways apart, but Spanish will get you by in either one.

I just looked it up. Parade will be June 15th - 21st for 2014.

In 2015 it is in French Lick Indiana June 21 -27.

I ain't going to Mexico for any anything. It is in the cheap part of the state ;) of California.

I was curious about the distance. Google Earth pegs it at 1,575 miles total. The instructions are easy. Drive West on I-40 for 1,202 miles then merge with I-15 at Barstow.

You should take Hwy 1 / Pacific Coast Highway. Although, I always go the 101 route.

Several years ago I was chatting with a friend and we were talking about commuting to work. He mentioned his daughter flew to work every day. I asked if she lived in Las Vegas and he said yes. So I said Oh, she must be an Area 51 employee. He said I can't verify that and changed the subject.

Apparently Rennsport Reunion 5 will be at Laguna Seca in 2015 instead of 2014 because of the Parade. I guess the Parade is using an unlimited sound day for a club race or autocross.
