Yo ho, Jeff! Great email (the software one). It brings back memories of my code-slinging days. I had a coworker who would use highway names as integer variables in his FORTRAN code. He seemed to get a kick out of statements like GOTO US66, etc.

Good Morning folks. I have been bleaching my eyes for several minutes. I can almost see normally again.

Morning Everyone. Had the worst night of my life last night. I had to put down my best friend Morgan. She fought hard but and was the best dog anyone could ask for. She had a unique way of capturing everyone's heart.

Andy, I am very sorry for your loss. Loosing a great dog is just horrible. We lost both of our 14 year old dogs within 30 days.

I knew it was going to be rough, but I didn't expect it to be this rough.

Give yourself a few weeks to grieve, and then get a puppy or two.

We have a great pair of dogs now. Very different than the last two personality wise.

Thanks guys. You know, you always hear people say, "I'll never get another dog again, because of the pain of loosing them" But I think it's a never ending cycle of getting another pup to fill the hole the last one left in your heart.

It is a shame dogs live such a short life. Every dog has a different personality.

Sorry to hear this Andy. Seems to be something in the water, a good friend of mine lost his just a couple of days ago and another is facing a very near departure of his. I love my pets but it does hurt when they leave us

Condolences.

Still miss my first dog of 17 yrs. She was one in a million.

Got another dog within 2 months. No where near as smart or as much of a companion.

The replacement cat is much better than the last cat, but not very trainable. Can't find anything to use for reward.

You don't reward a cat. You have to remember, dogs have masters, cats have staff

Went to a funeral earlier today for our former secretary. She had been ill for a while, and was the same age as me. Life is too fragile.

Morgan was too young to go though. That really has me upset. If she would have been able to live her full life and grow old, I would be taking this a lot easier.

I had an interesting customer. The lady calls and she is the personal assistant to the wife of a rather wealthy and famous person that shall remain nameless. She wanted a reprint of a photo we shot in 1999. If fell off of the wall and the glass cut up the print. Oh, darn I guess we have to sell her a new print.

I made a 30x40 print and mailed it to them. I googled the address and it is one HUGE estate of a house. I always wonder what the credit limit is on a credit card like that.

I also wonder just how much money does one need to make to get to the point that it makes sense to hire a personal assistant for the wife. I know they make more money in a day than I make in a year.

Oh well, the personal assistant was very nice to chat with.

Is this rather wealthy person involved in the productions of natural gas?

Sorry for your loss Andy.

It's been three months since our Jack departed and not a day goes by without thinking of him. It's a hard thing but I'm glad there's another fur kid that likes to follow us around.

I was chatting with the former boss and owner of the business. Today is his 98th birthday. He is still doing great. He still drives and is sharp as can be. I would never want to get into a mental math contest with him. He can calculate ratios and areas in his head at astonishing speed.

He was great to have around for simple questions like what county is city of Foss in. I had to look it up. It is in Wa****a County.

The stupid word filter censors the name of a county! It is W a s h i t a county.
