Y'know what I love about taking core courses at the local 3rd rate 'university'??? The bar is so low that I barely have to put out any effort.

I turned in a paper for my english comp class that had major errors in every single citation (ADD moment, I do my citations shorthand the first time around and go back to flesh em out..........forgot to go back this time). She still gave me a 95, with the remarks 'Excellent composition and mechanics'

God bless idiots.

Ugh... These next two days are going to suck... Only plus is that Nikole may be stopping by for a few hours tonight so I can show her how to access all her student info on the school website...

There is a decent level of skill involved.
Go full throttle and you won't make it past the first turn.
I do not have a lot of skill, it's quite difficult to go fast and keep it on track.

In my experience it got boring once you figured out how much throttle you could give it in each section of the track....

That is true for autocrossing as well !

I guess since the track is always different at an autocross it is a little harder to get it just right. And wipeouts are much more expensive.

Posting from the new laptop. Went with a manufacturer refurbished HP off ebay for about $100 less than what I would have spent on a new one. Has pretty much the same warranty.

They keyboard is excellent. Like typing on little chicklets. I love that feel. I hate some of those new computers with the rubbery-feeling keys. This keyboard is very tactile. I feel like I can physically type faster with this keyboard. Also helps that all the keys work, an improvement over my previous laptop.

Keyboards that work are a plus. Years ago I had a keyboard that the P key was non-functional. I had to use the ASCII code to make a P. I typed a company memo and I just ignored the fact it had no letter p in it. The boss bought me a new keyboard that day.

Damn cute little lady derailed my study train for almost 4hrs... I'm not complaining... Been a long time since I have had that butterfly feeling.... First time we have spent much time together alone... Usually one of her friends is with her... We talked for most of that time... Definitely will be able to stand her for more than a few months... Talked her into being my navigator at the PCA fun rally...

Slot cars were great fun when I was 10. Six of us in the neighborhood had all kinds of track and would pool it all together to make a huge 6 lane track that took up a friends living room with all the furniture moved to the garage. We planned and planned our track setups so each car got the same number of the same radius turns and outside lanes (with guard rails). Just two years ago I found my box of track in the attic and gave the now very rusty track to goodwill. Made the mistake about 20 years ago of letting a nephew play with my cars and cigar box pit box (brushes/motors/oil/grease, etc). Haven't seen 'em since. It took months of testing to put together all the various parts to make my fastest car. We even made a drag strip using the finish line flag thing from a Hot Wheels set.

No...well, yeah but
Every year as tourist season approaches, local businesses hire foreign students. Many are Russian women. Russian women will leave you spent, bleeding and hungover on the floor of their room begging for more.
The Russians are coming and one brain is telling me to stay the hell away this year while the other one is screaming 'YEAH BABY!!!!!!'
