March 4th. ;) Both texts were not very pushy, nor full of gusto. :D

Full moon in a few days.... Not so good for night time photos, unless that's the intention. New moon in a couple weeks, but it's going to be coldddddddd!

I greatly agree! And after the first of the year it's much more likely! ;)

my dad used to shoot Nikons

slodave 10-15-2013 09:47 PM

D300.

You ride a mtb? Alarick and I have been trying to get out on Sunday mornings and into the hills.

Embraer 10-15-2013 09:49 PM

I split a line on my maguras and I haven't had a chance to fix it.

slodave 10-15-2013 09:57 PM

Get it fixed! Since we are close to the Santa Monica's, that's where we ride.

Embraer 10-15-2013 09:58 PM

ive been doing the mission peak hike just about daily with my two dogs. (hikings, that is). i'll have to get it fixed. I did convert my MTB to single speed. it would be a killer ride....

porsche4life 10-15-2013 10:26 PM

Just ride it with no brakes! I think dave just uses his arms and legs to stop... ;) Or his head when skiiing! :p

slodave 10-15-2013 10:27 PM

Riding with one gear would suck. Lots of fireroad and some simple single track, but lots o uphill too. :D

At least my brake pads don't wear out! And yes, my head has triggered the seismographs that record earthquakes in Mammoth. In my heads defense... I did manage to break the mountain a little!

porsche4life 10-15-2013 10:35 PM

I think one could make the argument that your brake pads are much more expensive to fix though!!!

slodave 10-15-2013 10:41 PM

Only if your bones break! :D
