Actually, I've had quite a few out checking it out....they think it is pretty neat!

I'm thinking of adding a servo controlled variable spoiler....

slodave 10-19-2013 05:39 PM

There's something to be said about housing the servo's in a watertight box. :)

azzarule 10-19-2013 05:41 PM

Okay Dave, no

"I told you so's, " allowed.

Everyone has to learn in their own way.

Jeff, hahahahahahaha self inflicted pain is no reason for my sympathy (although I will expect some if I need it!!)

slodave 10-19-2013 05:46 PM

I'm not saying anything. :)

most definitely, but it'd be a pain in the rear with how I have this thing set up and I can make the servos really water resistant, they just don't do so well when fully submerged for 20 minutes.....actually, the throttle servo did just fine, just the rudder servo that freaked out.....man, clearing out the engine of water is interesting....

azzarule 10-19-2013 07:03 PM

night all.

don't stay up too late!!

Humpf!

Outback Porsche 10-19-2013 07:10 PM

It's hot and there's still lots of calcium scale on the walls of this ruddy spa :(

Sweating rum...

RKDinOKC 10-19-2013 07:15 PM

Navel Jelly?

Outback Porsche 10-19-2013 07:49 PM

Haha.

Bloody big spa/pool at 2.4m x 2.4m x 2m.
The primordial soup in the bottom is a solution of phosphoric acid dissolving the calcium (and a few critters that fell in there last night).

Once it's all cleaned up I've got a silicon based tile and grout sealant to paint on it all.

Outback Porsche 10-19-2013 07:57 PM

A 'one day' job is to knock the 5hitty tiling job off it, render it and paint it all with 2 part pool epoxy.

I've got too much on the go around here to do it now and the war office wants a functional spa this summer.

HHI944 10-19-2013 07:58 PM

OK, so the flipping is because to much of the steering is coming from the top of the rudder. I removed the outer beams that held the plate for the hinge for the rudder at the bottom, made a smaller plate attached to the rear of the servo tray and centered the hinge up a bit. I'm hoping this will help direct more air to the bottom of the rudder for more stable steering. If that doesn't work, I'll have to rework the servo tray and move the fuel tank to directly behind the engine....

Agreed and Sidney you always complain about that. Why do you keep drinking it? Skip it and go to the coffee shop down the street. :) You make me laugh.

Its one of those things... you are grabbing breakfast and you see coffee, so you grab a cup thinking it will be acceptable, and it never freaking is. I just don't understand what they do to the coffee that it is always so bad at everyone. They call it smartroast, but it just sucks... ;)

Haha...But I'm not in the company ride this weekend... ;) I have been thinking about getting one of those Bodum travel mug/french press things so I can make my own coffee..

I agree on the BRRRRRRR part Rick... It was nice for the wedding until it got dark, then it was 41 which is bloody cold when you are sitting around in dress slacks! I can't wait to get out of the cold states!

Brrrrrr! Harsh reminder that I'm not in Oz (as in Wizard of) anymore. Oh well, at least I got to keep the ruby slippers. :D
