I'm not too fond of the design really. I feel that if zee germans thought it needed to be one piece, who are we to argue with them? And this isn't a track car, I've got no desire to be swapping the gasket in just a few hours.

For almost any production car the bean counters get in the way. I bet every mechanic on the design team wanted a three piece but the bean counters figured they could save a few bucks on the car and they won.
I guess you are doing the same thing right now.
No, I'm saying I don't think the design of that particular piece looks worth it, plus given the stories I've heard, I'm not find of giving them any more of my money. ;)

That is a different and valid reason.

HHI944 11-01-2013 11:03 AM

Porsche-poor 11-01-2013 11:08 AM

I'm thinking he is looking to put someone else's eye out.

Porsche-poor 11-01-2013 11:42 AM

GH85Carrera 11-01-2013 11:53 AM

Was that email server run by the US Post Office?

Porsche-poor 11-01-2013 11:56 AM

who knows. it was related to the toys for tweeze thing. They might have found the email and just now deleted it.

RKDinOKC 11-01-2013 11:58 AM

Just don't have them do anything or get anything you might want a guarantee on.

Porsche-poor 11-01-2013 12:02 PM

Definitely other peoples eyes over which there should be concern.

Lower is together minus the buffer assembly, they are supposed to have a few of those in next week in pistol size.

GH85Carrera 11-01-2013 12:27 PM

Any machine work to do or is it just assemble the kit?

Porsche-poor 11-01-2013 12:44 PM

Not to scary, but I think the rule of reading the whole thing is out the window.

Porsche-poor 11-01-2013 12:47 PM

I am pretty sure I have read it all. Of course I started at the beginning. I did not post anything until a few pages in.
