Dave, how many matches did you go through to get that shot?

Its 19F here this morning, and will rise by about 10 during the day, holy 5hit!!

Howdy Steamwolf, funny eh, so many Aussies on the thread, sorry to the rest of the world, but its what we Aussies do, find the best people to hang out with and make friends.

azzarule 01-23-2013 04:02 AM

technical question, I know I should go to the technical threads but can't be bothered searching, Marilyns door lock is working intermittently, only with the key though, its like the key mechanism is not moving at all, then the next second it does move and locks or unlocks, had to leave her unlocked yesterday for a bit of shopping. Never had any problem before yesterday, does it need to be sprayed with something, it would appear that it is the actual lock not the rest of the mechanism as the key its not rocking in the lock. Maybe its too furking cold!!!

GH85Carrera 01-23-2013 05:15 AM

The 911 door locks are persnickety. If my doors are not shut real tight the doors will not lock. Both doors have to be completely shut. If it still does it you need to adjust the lock mechanism.

Good Morning folks.

Uncle is in it too. Skip to 2:20 for my shining moment of glorious commentary.

ok, somehting stupid I've done?
I put a supra turbo engine into a toyota crown, the first car I ever did motorsport in was a Renault 16TS, I once owned a morris 1100, and I drove a $300 lincoln continental towncar from dallas to LA and back again, jumped it across a NM culvert, offered a ginormous texan highway patrolman a pistol crossbow, and got stopped at the gates of the White Sands Missile Testing Range at gunpoint by federal police and MP's in a case of mistaken identity.

But I was young then and needed the money...

One thing for sure, you do indeed know what makes an ugly car. That thing for sure is that mega ugly. Some fool paid money to make it look like that. Thank you for destroying it. The world is a better place now.

pete3799 01-23-2013 05:59 AM

Guess it's not going to warm up much today.

Pete, even if it warms up 30 degrees is will still be below freezing.

Stay Warm.

Noah930 01-23-2013 06:23 AM

The last winter I lived in New England there was a spell in February where the temperature remained below freezing for 3 weeks straight. I hate it when you get all bundled up, you reach for the knob on the front door and you're cold even before you open it.

Porsche-poor 01-23-2013 06:48 AM

Morning all. Temp went up again over night 37 out now.

GH85Carrera 01-23-2013 06:54 AM

David, how long did the fireplace repair take?

Porsche-poor 01-23-2013 06:56 AM

1/2 hour. Replace the thermocouple. Fired right off.

GH85Carrera 01-23-2013 07:04 AM

How long was the wait for the repair man?

Porsche-poor 01-23-2013 07:17 AM

3 hours 15 min. You were right.
