D, I've got one of those that is pretty damn fine for doing wax. I bet your car looks good! I told you a wax would help it!

I've never had any luck with a power buffer, I always see swirls and I hate those, so I do it by hand

HHI944 11-02-2013 04:40 PM

Guy cut me off and slammed on his brakes today while I was on the Duc.....damage is purely cosmetic and the worst is on the fairing mids so she'll probably end up just being 1/4 faired now....
fuch I'm sore....

For the song plagerize "Look on the brighter side of life" from the Python movie The Life of Brian. It's a sing along too.

Did you "express" yourself to him Joe?

RKDinOKC 11-02-2013 04:58 PM

I get less swirls on dark paint that has a tendency to show swirls when I use a buffer for both the cleaner and the polish.

Saw a commercial for a buffer that doesn't swirl. It's called a BuffPro…

An NO, it isn't a high powered toilet paper dispenser.

I thought the goal of most drivers was to run lone motorcycle riders off the road and that's why you always ride in groups of two or more.

He stopped long enough to make sure I wasn't dead in his broken english then hauled ass....no witnesses stopped....

Cops actually told me I should have drawn on him....

Bugger!

HHI944 11-02-2013 06:39 PM

Yeah, not cool...

Ugh, gettin more sore by the minute....this calls for more booze

Noah930 11-02-2013 06:44 PM

Sorry to hear about it, Joe. Glad you're OK.

HHI944 11-02-2013 07:38 PM

The bike isn't bad, but I'm pretty sure I'm just going to go to 1/4 fairing rather than try to fix that mid fairing

My thigh is really freaking buggin me now, no surface visible injuries but it is wickedly sore. I'm expecting to see some nice deep tissue bruising there tomorrow...

HHI944 11-02-2013 07:42 PM

Got some more work done of the redesign of the airboat, it's about 3.5 inches wider which should help with stability. All the wood is marine epoxy resin coated, some gnarly stuff and wickedly strong. I think I could back all the screws out and it'd hold together just fine.

I'll probably get the engine mounted up tomorrow and shore up trimming that into alignment

Oh no, Joe! So glad to hear you are ok!!! Big hugs!!!!!!

HHI944 11-02-2013 08:14 PM

Hey nurse Tweeze, what's the shelf life of Vicodin? I have some that's about a year old.....

porsche4life 11-02-2013 08:28 PM

That vic will be just fine joe... Most drugs are good to 5-10 years past the expiration date....

HHI944 11-02-2013 08:37 PM

Well then, it's time for a happy pill......assuming I can make it down the stairs, seems like every time I stand up the leg is a bit more sore
