had a friend who's parents used to own a pub a Pt Campbell, love that great Ocean Road, so majestic.

azzarule 12-06-2013 07:13 PM

time for bed, night Jeff, keep cool down there, don't work too hard in the garden!!

Me, I am going to get a hard hat for "ice pellets" !!!

Outback Porsche 12-06-2013 07:20 PM

Me too. We'd spend Christmas holidays all over it.

I'd often hitch hike over to Torquay (technally not on the Great Ocean Rd) and camp at Anglesea and Lorne.

Outback Porsche 12-06-2013 07:22 PM

Night Azzy. Have fun dodging ice and, brrrrr (it sounds cold), keep warm.

See you at 5 tomorrow Glen?

I got all my clothes laid out tonight. Going to have to change in the car lol, as I'm coming up early to do a little shopping.

No pics because it'll make slodave queasy.

Bloody hot work - 30something degrees C. I think I'll wait until it cools down this arvo (or tomorrow morning) before I plant the tree.

Time for a cold beverage. :D

damn. your yard looks really nice.

GH85Carrera 12-06-2013 08:21 PM

The forecast is for a low of 3 degrees. Yikes. The high for tomorrow is 20 and more white crap.

porsche4life 12-06-2013 08:24 PM

The more white crap needs to wait until late, late at night!

GH85Carrera 12-06-2013 08:27 PM

I agree. At least we can park in a parking garage tomorrow night.

porsche4life 12-06-2013 08:30 PM

I'm thinking I may even let the valets park my slowrolla tomorrow...

Any bone damage or just flesh?? Will it buff out or does he get titanium jewelry??

No bony injury. But he shredded a one muscle, ripped through an artery, and tore one nerve from its branch point while severely bruising up the other, adjoining nerve. I think he's going to have two numb-ish fingers when all is said and done.

slodave 12-06-2013 11:03 PM

I wonder if this sponsorship will allow me to have my car re-aligned, corner balanced, lowered? Hmm... Gotta check into that.

slodave 12-06-2013 11:07 PM

Alarick, it's been around 8 years since my 3rd degree shoulder separation. Can you still reattach things? It's normally not a bother, but when wrenching on the 911, I do feel it. Not that I'd have it fixed, but just wondering if it still could be.

RKDinOKC 12-06-2013 11:07 PM

Sponsorship as in money for logo on car, or work in trade for logo on car? Any requirements, as in number of events attended, or podium finishes?

Local garage I use for dyno, he is on that street racer show…he had honda as a sponsor while he was winning the championship drag racing his Civic, dropped him as soon as he started getting beat.

Could be a lot of things causing your pain. A physical exam and an MRI are a start. Maybe you'll respond to a cortisone injection or therapy. Surgery can be an option (start with an arthroscopy and go from there, depending on the intraoperative findings). But at the same time, there's a saying: there's no condition so bad that surgery can't make it worse. So make sure you have a good reason to operate before operating.

Noah930 12-06-2013 11:12 PM

Oh, and get an extra TRE sticker (the small one) for Mrs. Noah. We'll stick it on the minivan.
