Ya wanna bet? You have been to eastern Colorado and Kansas. Not a canyon in sight. I have to drive for at least an hour to find curvy roads. I can go 75 legally just a short drive from home but it is a long straight road.

my post was regarding AZ. i spent two years in kansas/nebraska/missouri..... so i know what you are talking about.

evening all, went to an Amish Quilt Auction today, always fun to watch the Amish peeps, in their surroundings. Beautiful quilts, bought one, a Fall coloured Maple Leaf and Stars, very pretty.
Currently sitting on one of the spare beds.

nynor 11-23-2013 05:54 PM

how much did that quilt set you back?

azzarule 11-23-2013 05:58 PM

500 but I really had to restrain myself, there were some that I would love to have bought another one but some were getting to 600+

nynor 11-23-2013 06:03 PM

i am very surprised that you got one below $1K.

Evening guys... Getting closer to getting the porsche drivable again... Dealing with a stripped body bolt in the caster block. :(

Also tore into the CV joints. I think Porsche had EXTRA NASTY in the spec for that grease!

Okay there is a commercial that is really bugging the crap outs me. Michael Bolton singing in dramatic fashion on the fake snow for Honda.
I guess you know you really made it when you get to sing for Honda in a cheezie manner.

Jim Richards 11-24-2013 05:37 AM

Jim Richards 11-24-2013 05:41 AM

True, but did you need to expose me to that before breakfast. Now, I just want to http://forums.pelicanparts.com/suppo...s/pukeface.gif

Rick V 11-24-2013 05:49 AM

You will just have to eat first so you can better handle my occasional post like that or basically anything from Jeff. :D

BTW, we won the first cricket match against the soap dodgers this arvo. The weather tried it's best to make it a draw (hail and rain), but the poms batting order collapsed big time.

Rick V 11-24-2013 06:31 AM

I need a Delorian. I have to go back in time and find the fellow who built this house and ask him why he thought it was a good idea to put in hardwood flors and only use wax to seal them. Rickie just loves doing the vinegar and water scrub so I can re wax
