Felt the same way watching Burlesque Assassins, bad, funny, AND scantily clad womens dancing.

One of the characters is supposed to be Hitler's son. He shaved his mustache to be less recognizable but the area where his mustache was is whiter than the rest of his face. Hitler mustache tan line.

Watched a LOT of B Movies when I was laid up with the foot.

Evening folks.

Cold weather with just a little bit of S***

Trying to watch the F1 race was impossible. The local NBC station went to massive coverage of the weather. It was a little bit of snow & sleet. No tornadoes, no thunderstorms, just a little white stuff. They filled half the screen with the radar picture. That is only when they did not cut away from the race. They did not even show the start of the race. It was lap 3 before any coverage and they cut away several times to show a reporter point out that it was slick and cold.

We finally just gave up and waited for the re-broadcast.

It's the local affiliate that chooses to walk all over programming with late breaking news and weather. They need to can the weekend director that pre-empted the start of the race.

No kidding Richard. All 3 networks have gotten horrible this year about breaking constantly for very minor weather events.

OMG, the sky is cloudy, the sky is cloudy!

How about the commercial for the news, DURING THE NEWS!

And, We've got a news story, and we're going to spend as much time telling you that we have a news story you might want to hear about as it would take to tell you the news story, but we are going to have the news story later in the broadcast.

How 'bout some more commercials.

I got an idea, in a 30 minute slot, run 1 minute of commercials, then display the sponsors logo in the corner of the screen, then halfway thru run 2 minutes of commercials, then back to the content with a logo in the corner. Then toss in another minute of commercials at the end.

Get away from this whole business of trying to entertain the viewer with as much freakin commercial as there is program. Even the most entertaining commercials get very tired when you see them over and over and over and over.

our coverage of the F1 apparently didn't start until about lap 21 for some reason. We were watching the channel, and also recording it, in case we went out, but they cut to the race with the thing being at lap 21. Don't know how that happened.

Azzy, One reason I was pissed at NBC is the pre-race coverage was not aired. We record the pre-race and that was the start of the race. Then the race coverage did no even cover the final comments. We had to record 30 minutes longer than the race to see it all. And that was for the freaking re-broadcast. It was like a race earlier in the year when the start of the broadcast was the last few laps of the race to spoil it and then they started the race broadcast. NBC sucks donkey doodads.
